Mary Lippe, 68, of Belton, McGregor and Oglesby died Oct 2. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Oct. 5 at Cole Funeral Home Chapel in McGregor. Burial was in Post Oak Cemetery near Oglesby in Coryell County.
Mrs. Lippe was born March 28, 1943 in Gatesville the daughter of Carl and Irene (Johnson) Evans. A 1962 graduate of Leon Junction High School, she married Alburn Wayne Lippe July 17, 1964. For nine years she was employed as a baker by the Belton Independent School District. She retired in 1999. She enjoyed baking wedding cakes and working in various farts and crafts.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by two sons, Allan Lippe and wife Jana of Belton and Eddie Lippe and wife Tonya of Burleson; a brother Francis Evans and wife Nita of Belton, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Cole Funeral Home was in charge of arrangement.
