Trudy Stuart, 57, of Salado died Oct. 6 at her home in Salado. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Oct. 12 at the Grace Baptist Church in Salado with the Rev. Ed Thomas and the Rev. Steve Waechter officiating. Burial was in the North Belton Cemetery.
Mrs. Stuart was born in Norton, Va., Feb. 22, 1954 to Carlos and Hazel Mullins and married Frank Stuart in Belton July 11, 1971. She was employed by Bell County for a number of years, as a secretary in the Juvenile Probation Department and also in the office of the County Engineer.
She was preceded in death by her father and two sisters, Ruthie Kilgore and Jo Bernice Mullins.
She is survived by her husband, Frank Stuart of Salado; a son, Kevin "Cheezy" Stuart and wife Tammy of Belton, a daughter, Amanda Stuart of Plainvew; her mother, Hazel Mullins of Wise, Va., seven brothers, Cossie Mullins, Connie Mullins, Roy Mullins, James Mullins, Johnny Mullins, Bill Mullins and Merdie Mullin all of Virginia; seven sisters, Carrie Ratliff and Nancy Whitted both of Tennessee, Regina Mullins, Bertha Smith, Frances Mullins, Naomi Sartin and Rhonda Lewis all of Virginia and four grandchildren.
