Yens Allen Thompson, 85, of Belton died Oct. 11 in a Temple hospital. No services are planned.
Mr. Thompson was born Oct. 25, 1925 in Bell County and was a self employed master carpenter. He married Martha Goddard 20 years ago. He was a deacon at Miller Heights Baptist Church for more than 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Karen Johnson and husband Rod of Belton, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Heartfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
