Mrs. Margaret Mae Martin, 84, of Belton died Oct. 16 in Temple. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Oct. 19 at Dossman Funeral home with Chaplain Bruce Mercer officiating.
Burial was in North Belton Cemetery.
Mrs. Martin was born July 19, 1927 in Richmond, Va., to Ernest and Erma Tice. She married Thomas Earl Martin Nov. 26, 1942 in Charleston, S.C. and they moved to Belton from Houston in 1998. She wa a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, where she was a member of Daughters of the King and the Altar Guild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, six children and one grandchild.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Rogers and husband Gil of Belton and Linda Shumway of Belton and one brother, Jake Tice and wife Mable of Richmond, Va.
