Tyler Elementary gives back

Tyler Elementary delivered books to more than 300 students from approximately 170 families last Saturday during Tyler's Make a Difference Day. More than 1,500 books were collected from staff, local families, and community groups. H-E-B donated environmentally friendly, reusable bags for delivering the books. Altrusa International, Inc. of Temple contributed 150 new hardcover books and provided breakfast to staff and volunteers prior to book delivery. Pictured is Tyler Elementary receptionist, Veronica Manuel, as she delivers books to two Tyler families.
