Esther Selma Winkler, 95, of Temple died Oct. 21 in an area care center. Funeral services were at 3 p.m. Oct. 25 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Temple with the Rev. Dan Wehmesen and the Re. Wilbur Michalk officiating. Burial was at St. Paul Lutheran Church in The Grove. Mrs.Winkler was born June 14, 1916 to Carl and Emilia (Pompell) Schinart. She married Gus Oscar Winkler June 23,1946 at Vernon. She was as long time member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She is survived by three sons, James Winkler and wife Sandee of Willow Park, Gene Winkler and wife Gina of Westlake, La., and Les Winkler and wife Sharla of Pflugerville, 13 grandchildren ad 15 great-grandchildren.
