Belton Middle School 8th Grade Science Teachers Elizabeth Cancel and Helann Evans conducted experiments on the properties of liquid nitrogen for science classes on Oct. 25. They also invited parents to attend. Students got to make ice cream at the end of the presentation.
The Long Range Facilities Planning Committee for Belton ISD has been called back into service for the first time since 2008 to review facilities needs due to growth within the District. The first meeting was held Oct. 24, with the second meeting set for Nov. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the Board Room at the Administration Building. Meetings are posted as Board meetings with the committee composed of Board members, community and parent representatives, as well as district and campus representatives. Anyone interested in attending the Nov. 8 meeting is welcome.
