Graveside services for Edward "Ed" Lee Chism, 62, of Temple were held Nov. 11 at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple.
Mr. Chism passed away November 9, 2011 at his home in Temple.
Ed was born on Fort Hood, Texas on April 24, 1949 to Noble and Dollie Evans Chism. He graduated from Temple High School in 1967. Ed married Peggy Haynes in Belton on June 14, 1969. He worked for Gaines Frozen Food for 25 years. Ed also delivered newspapers for the Temple Daily Telegram for 25 years. He enjoyed playing in various softball leagues.
Mr. Chism was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Jerry Dan & Terry Don Chism.
Ed is survived by his wife, Peggy, of Temple; two sons, Doug Chism and David Chism, both of Temple; his mother, Dollie Chism; and 6 grandchildren.
