BISD students honor veterans

The Marching 100 Drum line and JROTC marched through the halls at BHS at the beginning of the day and then hosted veterans at lunch with a special cake. The JROTC also marched in the Veterans Day Parade
in Killeen.
Tyler Elementary first grade students spelled out “Thank You Veterans”
in the fence along 6th Ave.
Southwest Elementary hosted Major Raul Marquez who spoke of his experiences and brought army gear for the students to see.
