Owen Dalton

Owen "Gweny" Dalton, 51, of Salado, died Nov. 20. Funeral services were at 10 a.m. Nov. 28 at Dossman Funeral Home with the Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Burial was in Salado Cemetery at Salado.
Mrs. Dalton was born June 23, 1960 in Brawley, Calif,, the daughter of Bill and Jane Upton. She graduated from Trinity High School in Euless. She taught piano with Mary Morgan in the Hurst area for ten years. For the last 23 years she had worked in Sir Wigglesworth, and Horsefeathers in Salado, and since 2007 worked on the Brazos Collection for Tamara and Eddie Liner in Salado. She was a an active member of the Temple Bible Church for the last nine years.
She is survived by her father; two sisters, Robin Upton and Kathy Upton, her husband, Britt Dalton; a daughter, Chantal Villanueva, a son, Jesse Dalton and two grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Owen Dalton Memorial Fund at First State Bank in Salado.
Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
