Crimson River preparing for gospel concert

Crimson River Ministries is preparing to present it's 22nd year of presenting top Southern Gospel music groups in Temple in 2012. The first event of the year will be Saturday, January 7th featuring Mark Trammell Quartet and The Whisnants. It will be held at the Temple College Auditorium, beginning at 6:00 pm that evening.

This will be the second annual event featuring these same two groups. Crimson River Ministries spokesman Tony Watson said the demand was such that they felt the need to bring back both groups together. "We had such a tremendous response to these two groups together last year that it was a natural to bring them back. Mark Trammell has been with us so very many times over the years and has such a following throughout the country, especially in Texas, but the people were introduced to The Whisnants for the first time. We've been fan of them for years but now they have many more fans in Central Texas," said Watson.

Tickets for the event are $15 for Artist Circle and $12 for General Admission while early sales prices remain. Tickets will go up $3 apiece soon. They can be purchased online through www.crimsonriverministries.com or by phone at (214) 862-1069 from Tony Watson.
