Marcus Vea

SSG Marcus "Mark" A. Vea, 57, of Belton, died Nov. 27 on Fort Hood. Memorial services were at 1 p.m. Monday at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Temple with burial at 3 p.m. at Central Texas Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
He was born June 22, 1954 in Watsonville, Calif., to Tomas Calma and Paula Alvarez Vea.
He retired from the US Army in 1954 after 20 years service and had been employed with Northrop Grumman for the past ten years.
He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Carol Vea.
He is survived by a son, Donald Harris of Richmond, Va.; his mother, Paula Vea of Somerton, Ariz. six sisters, Josephina Comatu of Yuma, Ariz., Jo Ann Garcia of Phoenix, Ariz., Frances Robinson of Las Vegas, Nev., Belinda Butler-Vea of Phoenix, Teresa Garcia of Yuma, and Cecilia Vea of Phoenix, two grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.
