Obituaries

Thelma Wohleb

Thelma I. Wohleb, 91, of Belton died Dec. 4 in a Belton nursing home. Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Dec. 6 in Reeds Lake Cemetery with Bobby Johnson officiating.

Mrs. Wohleb was born Oct. 16, 1920 in Cameron to Ralph Greer and Mary Walston (Thweatt)

Vaughn. She grew up in Cameron where she attended school. She married George Wohleb Dec. 9, 1966 in Georgetown. She and her husband developed the River Forest addition in Belton and built and operated River Forest Motel and Restaurant. She was active in the Belton Senior Center and was a member of the Bell County Sportman's Club and of the Business and Professional Women's Club. She was a Baptist.

She is survived by nephews Lynn Storey of Bayline, La., Dennis Storey of Blanchard, La., Mike Storey of Shreveport, La., Roy Story of Biloxi, Miss., and Bob Vaughn of Lunenburg, MA. and niece Lynda Wood of Shreveport, Alisa Gehagan of Bosier City, La., and Carol Sasadu of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

Memorials may be made to the Belton Senior Center.
