Jeffrey Kent Dees, 46, of Temple, died Dec. 11 in a Temple hospital.
Services were Dec. 17 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with the Rev. Jay Thomas officiating.
Mr. Dees was born Sept. 9, 1965 in Houston to Kenneth and Malinda (Frizzell) Dees. He graduated from Temple High School in 1984. He was an avid fisherman and belonged to several fishing and sportsmen clubs.
He played golf and enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his father of Temple; two sisters, Debra Severe and husband Michael of Round Rock and Julie Ann Harper of New Orleans, La. and two nieces.
Heartfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
