Downtown Belton Merchant’s Association is 4 years old

Downtown Belton Merchants Association is four years old and is making plans for its annual meeting to be held in late January, time and place to be announced. Main item on the January agenda will be the election of officers.

DBMA will have a new slate of officers. Under organization bylaws, officers are elected for two-year terms and can only serve two consecutive terms.

Sandy Bigham, outgoing president, reminds that all members of the Downtown Belton Merchants Association are eligible to vote in that election.

DBMA membership is open to any and all persons interested in the revitalization and development of Belton's National Historic Register Downtown Historic Business District.

There are several ways to pay dues, from mailing to Post Office Box 1393. Belton TX 76513, to the website, drop-off at one of the businesses in the 200 block of Central Ave.

Dues forms can be picked up at Moore & Garret & Co., or at Vintage Daze, or on line to www.downtownbelton.com.

Membership per year is: Business, $25; non-profit, $20; Individual, $15 and corporate, $50.
