From left to right: Reed Denton, Alayne Denton, Boone Denton, and Davis Denton.Three area Belton children were nominated to the state Board of Managment for Children of the Republic of Texas at the 50th Convention in Midland, Texas on June 26. Reed Denton will serve as 2nd Vice President General. He has formerly served on the BOM as Chaplain General for two years and Custodian General for one year. Boone Denton will serve as Registrar General for his first state term. Davis Denton will serve as Corresponding Secretary for his first term. Alayne Denton served as floor page this past convention, and was invited to serve as paige to the President General next year.

All the children are members of the Elizabeth Lawrence Aldrich CRT sponsored by the Ben Milam DRT chapter, and attend Central Texas Christian School.
