David Francis, 72, of Belton, died Jan. 5 in Temple. Burial was at 10 a.m. Jan. 9 at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Mr. Francis was born Sept. 4, 1939 in Chicago the son of Wilma Ruth Francis. He married his wife, Christine, April 28, 1998. He served honorably in the United Stats Navy from 1956 to 1960. He was a member of the Unity of Temple, Texas Church and was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Belton Chapter 589 Order of the Eatern Star and was Secretorial Master of the American Contort Bridge League.
He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Diane Declerq.
He is survived by his wife, Christine Francis; three sons, David Ghad Francdis II, James Stauser and Matthew Francis; one daughter, Adriana Treest Holladay and seven grandchildren.
Dossman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
