Dean Olton Dunning, 72, of Salado died Jan.3 in a Temple hoispital Memporial servies will be at 10 a.m. Jan. 14 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton with Brother Billy Brip officiating.
Mr. Dunning was born Aug. 6, 1936 in Brady to Ellis and Norma Dunning. He grew up in Brady and graduated from Brady Hiugh School. He operated several businesses in Salado over four decades and most recently a construction company. He was an active member of Victory Baptist Church and was a former member of the Salado Volunteer Fire Department.
He married Sharon Smith in Doole on Nov. 28, 1958.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years; a son, Anthony Dunning and his partner Angela Curlee Kay of Belton; a daugher Shelly Cumby and husband Jim of Salado, a brother, Gene Dunning and wife Willeen and two grandchildren
He was an organ donor.
