Victor H. Morris, 69, of Moody died Jan. 31. No services are planned at this time. The body will be donated to the Texas A&M Medical Willed Body Program.
Mr. Morris was born in Salado to Travis John and Thelma Cowen Morris Sept. 2, 1942. A graduate of Salado High School, he worked as an underwater welder on ships and as a water well driller and a farmer.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Morris, two step-sons, Weldon Morris of Troy and Jackie Morris of Cedar Park, five brothers, John Morris of Tacoma, Wash., Ted Morris of Salado, Wilburn Morris and Walter Morris both of Belton and Travis Morris of Oklahoma, two sisters, Odessa Sherwood of Belton and Linda Van Winkle of Moffat and four grandchildren.
Heartfield Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
