Weddings

McCowen & Fulcher

McCowen-FulcherMeagan Ann McCowen and Benjamin Aldridge Fulcher, both of Austin, were married Jan. 7 at South Chapel at Riverbend Church in Austin. Matt Blackwell officiated at the double ring ceremony at 11 a.m. Music was by Sharon Havard, aunt of the bride, Ivy Chiu and Noah Paick.

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. John McCowen of Austin and Dr. and Mrs. Sam Fulcher of Belton.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

The bride's attendants were Hannah Neal of Austin, maid of honor; Becky McCaw of Katy, matron of honor, and bridesmaids Casey McCowen of Dallas, sister-in-law of the bride, Sarah Henke of Austin, sister of the groom, Melissa Fulcher of Temple and Emily Fulcher of Grapevine sisters-in-law of the groom, Allison Horsley of Irving, Michelle Horsley of Marshall, Caitlin Munnerlyn of College Station and Meredith Meyer of Dallas.

Attending the groom were his brother, Joe Fulcher as best man, and groomsmen Sam Fulcher of Dallas, brother of the groom, Mason McCowen of Dallas, brother of the bride, Zach Henke of Austin, brother-in-law of the groom, David Cunningham of Colorado Springs, Colo., Larry Luck of Cypress, Abel Crosby of College Station, Julian Swanson of Monrovia, Calif., and RJ Taylor of Cypress

Flower girls were Emma Kate Fulcher of Temple, niece of the groom, Emma Almand and Julia Brighton both of Austin.

A reception followed at Vista at Seward Hall.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Texas and is a college intern at First Evangelical Free Church in College Station.

The groom is a graduate of Belton High School and is a graduate student in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas in Austin. On graduation in May he will be employed with Harvest Technologies in Belton.

After a wedding trip to Costa Rica the couple is living in Austin.

Parents of the groom were hosts for the rehearsal dinner at Z Tejas.
