ASCO Spartacus Dash presents donation to Unbound Now

Earlier this year, ASCO Equipment donated all 2024 race day proceeds to Unbound Now. The amount of $38,000 will aid in freeing our communities of human trafficking.



Employees of ASCO and members of Unbound Now were on hand for the check presentation. In his remarks, Spencer Ridgeway, ASCO Regional VP of Central Texas, shared that he knows how much these funds will assist in the daily operations of the organization to identify and respond to human trafficking in our local area.

Unbound Now is a national nonprofit with 24/7 services across Texas and Louisiana. The 501(c)(3) aims to fight for the protection of the vulnerable, identify the exploited, and advocate for survivors on their path to restoration. Moreover, organizational leaders are passionate about mobilizing communities, including local law enforcement, churches, and professionals across industries to end human trafficking.

The 14th ASCO Spartacus Dash obstacle course event will be held May 24, 2025 and is anticipating more than 400 participants ages 5 years to 105 years willing to run, walk, climb and crawl through three miles of 20 obstacles and mud.

The race begins at 9 a.m. and includes divisions for individuals, families and teams. It welcomes both serious competitors and weekend warriors just looking for some fun.

At the completion of the race each participant receives a medal, t-shirt, post-race food and custom awards will be presented to the top three winners in each age division.
