Belton ISD offers free summer meals to all children
June 5, 2025
Special to the Journal
With summer break underway, Belton ISD is continuing its commitment to support students and families by offering free meals through the 2025 Summer Feeding Program.
Made possible through a partnership with the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the program ensures that children 18 and younger—and enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21—can access nutritious meals at no cost while school is out.
“Summer can be a challenging time for many families, especially when it comes to consistent access to meals,” said Belton ISD Nutrition Services Director Chris Teager. “We’re here to help bridge that gap and ensure no child goes without.”
No registration or ID is required, and all meals must be consumed on-site.
