Carolyn Sue Insall

December 11, 1946 – November 1, 2025


Carolyn Sue Insall, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of the Lord, was called home by her Savior on Saturday, November 1, 2025.

Visitation will be at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, Texas on Thursday, November 7th from 6:00–8:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be at Dossman Funeral Home on Friday, November 7th at 10:00 AM with interment following at North Belton Cemetery Pavilion.


She was born on December 11, 1946, in Ranger, Texas, to George Dalton Milligan and Gladys Adams Milligan.

On March 1, 1991, Carolyn married the love of her life, Ronald “Ron” Pee Insall, in Belton, Texas. Together, they built a life filled with devotion, laughter, and faith. Carolyn earned her Master of Science degree from Tarleton State University in 1994 and went on to dedicate 25 years of her career to Scott & White Hospital, where her compassion and professionalism touched many lives.

Carolyn joyfully shared the love of Jesus teaching children’s Sunday School for 20+ years. She was influential in establishing the Body of Christ Community Clinic ministry connected to volunteer services.

She co-founded His Kids Outfitters, Hope for the Hungry Marketplace trift stores.

After retiring from Scott & White in 2014, Carolyn enjoyed traveling and was part of the Wildflower Quilt Guild, making quilts—often—for preemies.

She invested her creativity in sewing, baking and floral décor.

As a devoted member of First Baptist Church in Belton, Texas where she was best known for her lasting faithfulness.


Survivors include her husband, Arnold “Pee Wee” Insall of Belton, Texas; her children, Arnold Dee “Dee” Insall of Belton, Texas; her daughters Becky Frisk and husband David of Houghton, Minnesota, Tina Franklin of Franklin, Tennessee; three grandchildren Madilyn Coffey and husband Billy of Temple, Texas; her parents Lynda and Tee; and her siblings Jimmy Millican and wife Linda, Jackie and wife Tracy of Georgetown, Texas, and Melinda Brown; six nephews.


Carolyn will be remembered for her servant’s heart, steadfast faith, and the warmth she shared with everyone who crossed her path.
