August 28, 2025
A unique blend of Western elegance and heartfelt purpose is set to take center stage on Saturday, September 6, as the private ranch of Mr. and Mrs. Bill Barge opens its gates for Turquoise and Boots at the Barge Ranch, a special fundraising event benefiting Our Hospice House in Belton.
Hosted from 6 to 9 p.m., the evening will feature dinner under the stars, live music by The Leon River Band, craft cocktails, a curated live auction, and a celebration of community and compassion—all set against the scenic backdrop of one of Central Texas’s most iconic private ranches.

Patients can receive care at Our Hospice House in Belton at no cost, thanks to the generosity of donors. A benefit is being hosted at the Barge Ranch for Our Hospice House on Saturday, Sept. 6.
Proceeds from the event will directly support Our Hospice House, a local, faith inspired nonprofit that provides aroundthe-clock, no-cost care for terminally ill individuals in a peaceful, home-like setting. As a 100 percent donor-funded charity, the organization ensures that no one walks their final journey alone—and that no family ever receives a bill.
“This event is more than a fundraiser—it’s a celebration of community, dignity, and the belief that every life matters to the very end,” said Jennifer Bates, cofounder and board member of Our Hospice House. “We’re honored to gather at the Barge Ranch for an evening that helps make this sacred work possible.”
