CTRW to hold commemorative gala

Central Texas Republican Women will host a Faith, Family, Freedom Gala to commemorate the 250th Birthday of America on Feb. 10, at the Christ the King Catholic Church Event Center in Belton.
Doors open at 6 p.m., and the event will feature a dinner, photo booth, refreshment bar, many special guest speakers and surprises, music with dancing, Champagne & Pink Sapphire Drawing, and a Live & Silent Auction. The requested attire is dressy formal, cocktail, or Texas Chic.
The evening will feature a line-up of special guest speakers that includes Rev. Ramiro A. Peña, Gary Heavin – founder of Curves & Philanthropist, Steve Munisteri, Senior Advisor to Governor Greg Abbott, Dr. Dawn Buckingham – Texas Land Commissioner, Dr. Brad Buckley – TX Representative HD54, and Hillary Hickland – TX Representative HD55. Other well-known guests are expected to appear on this special evening.
A silent and live auction with several unique Texas-inspired and custom-designed items will be held, with Bell County Commissioner Bobby Whitson presiding over the Live Auction. Thinking of Valentine’s, which evokes feelings of celebration, champagne, and timeless sophistication—an intimate moment of beauty captured—Central Texas Republican Women are pleased to feature a 2-carat pink sapphire for one lucky winner that will be the star in the “Champagne & Sapphire” drawing, with tickets on sale for $50 each.
Central Texas Republican Women, a Bell County Republican grassroots organization, was chartered in 1964 and has consistently received the highest recognition from the Texas Federation of Republican Women and the National Federation of Republican Women each year for their political and community activities.
