Malena Mick, of Belton, passed away on October 12, 2025, at the age of 51. Services will be at a later date.

She was born on May 28, 1974, in Temple, Texas, to Gary Watkins and Alice Watkins.

Malena has a rare gift of loving people just as they were. She fully judged, just simply cared. If you needed help, she was there, no questions asked. She fed your heart and full of laughter and kindness reached the lives she touched.

She was strong, self-taught, and full of fight. Her laughter filled every space. Her loving presence made people feel at home. She loved to dance, late trips to Do’s Reaohouse, or just stay in with her family and friends. Whether driving, Malena loved her children and grandchildren and made every effort to spend time with every special person. She will be forever missed, but her spirit will never leave us.

Malena is survived by her loving partner, Louis Lee; six children, Alicia Hooks, Daron Mick, and wife Lynn, Cyanne Mick and wife Joy, Symone, and Louis Lee Jr.; her mother, Alice Watkins; and her siblings Michael Watkins and wife Bobbi, Shawn Watkins, Tim Hill, and Margaret Watkins and husband Walter; and five grandchildren.

In her grandchildren, James Everette Ray Hooks, Anaya Rose Mick, Patience Thomas Mick, Jr., Evelyn Grace Mick, and Meha Elizabeth Mick; She will also be missed by many other loving relatives, coworkers, and friends who were privileged to know her.

She is preceded in death by her father, Gary Watkins, and her brother, Malena Watkins.
