De'Leishya DeShae Richardson, 31, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2025, in Denver, Colorado.
De'Leishya was born on March 4, 1994, to her loving mother, Terrance Richardson of Belton, Texas, and David Pallihearsers. Richardson, her beautiful daughter. She was preceded in death by her sister, Alexia Richardson, and two great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodberry, and Mr. and Mrs. Meredith.
She is survived by her loving mother, Terrance Richardson, and her sister, De La Rosa, of Belton, Texas, and her beloved brother, Alexia Richardson, and her two great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodberry, and Mr. and Mrs. Meredith.
De'Leishya was a vibrant and caring young woman, full of laughter, nice, cousin, and a true friend. She graduated from Belton High School in 2012 and went on to numerous extracurricular activities, including softball, color guard, and band.
Known for her creativity, strong spirit, and passion, De'Leishya was someone you could always count on. A free spirit at heart, she loved exploring, new adventures, and creating lasting memories with those she loved. Always bringing a listening ear, De'Leishya’s presence made her friends and family felt courageously while they shared her journey and fight with her until her unexpected passing in early September. She was previously employed at Continued Care Hospital, transitioning to working with her family and friends. The family was to lay to rest with De'Leishya.
Despite all her medical struggles, she passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, her daughter, and cherished friends.
De'Leishya will forever be remembered for her beautiful soul, her unwavering love for her family and friends, and the joy she brought into every room. Her spirit will always be behind, shine in the hearts of those she left behind, especially in her cherished daughter, De'Leishya’s legacy of love, laughter, and light will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
De'Leishya is survived by her parents, mother, Terrance Richardson of Belton, Texas, and David Richardson, her beautiful daughter, Nyaisa; sisters, De La Rosa, of Belton, and Alice Woodberry, of Moody, Texas; brother, Alexia Richardson, of Belton, Texas, and Alice Woodberry, of Moody, Texas; and her two great grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Woodberry, and Mr. and Mrs. Meredith.
PALLHEARERS De'Andre Richardson, Kenneth Woodberry, Kenneth Woodberry, Devone Meredith. Visitation was held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 13, 2025, and funeral service was held Friday, November 14, 2025, at Dossman Funeral Home. Burial followed at Killeen Memorial Park.
The Richardson family would like to invite everyone to join for a celebration of life, after the location to be announced soon.
